Move to a paid plan
Upgrade a server from Free to Basic, Pro or Max, and manage the subscription afterwards.
Each Discord server has its own plan. Upgrading one server doesn't change your others. Only the workspace Owner can buy or manage a plan.
When you're done, you'll have a paid plan on your server, with its higher limits live right away.
Open the plans page
Click Upgrade in the banner at the top of the dashboard, or go to Settings > Billing and click See all plans.
Pick monthly or yearly
Use the switch at the top. Yearly costs the same as ten months, so you get two months free. The page shows how much you save.
Pick a plan
Click Upgrade to Basic, Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Max. Stripe's checkout opens in a new tab. Pay with a card. You can enter a promo code there if you have one. Prices are in US dollars and don't include tax.
Check it works
Come back to the dashboard. After a few seconds you'll see Thank you for your purchase and your server's new plan. Features marked Paid work straight away, and Settings > Usage shows the new monthly reply limit.
Change or cancel later
Go to Settings > Billing:
- Manage opens Stripe, where you can switch plans, update your card and see invoices.
- Upgrades apply straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of the period.
- Downgrades, and moving from yearly to monthly, happen at the end of the period you've paid for.
- Cancel opens Stripe. You keep everything until the end of the period you've paid for. There's no refund for the rest of it.
If you downgrade
Nothing is deleted. If you're over a limit on the smaller plan, the oldest items keep working and the newest ones are paused. For example, with too many documents, your oldest documents keep answering and the newest aren't used until you remove some or upgrade again. A banner in the dashboard tells you what's paused.
Paid settings you turned on, like a custom server profile, stay saved but locked. Upgrade again and they come back as they were.
