Set up in 5 minutes
Add Dexbi to your server, give it something to read, deploy it and try it.
You need to be able to add bots to your Discord server. That means the Manage Server permission, or being the owner.
Sign in
Go to dash.dexbi.app and click Continue with Discord. Dexbi only signs in with Discord. There is no separate password.
Add Dexbi to your server
On Your servers, click Add a server. Discord's own install screen opens in a new tab. Pick your server and click Authorize.
Keep all the permissions Discord lists. Dexbi uses each one. See Discord permissions for why.
Come back to the dashboard. Your server shows up in the list on its own. If it doesn't, click the refresh button at the top.
Pick your server
Click your server's card. This opens its workspace. Each Discord server has its own workspace with its own content, settings and plan.
Add some content
Dexbi answers only from what you give it. Open Content and choose one:
- New document to write something now, like a short FAQ.
- Import document to upload a PDF, Word, Markdown or text file.
- Website sync to import your help center or docs site.
Press Save on a new document and it goes live. Imports take a minute or two. Watch the progress with the Jobs button at the top of the Content page.
Try it in the Test box
The Test panel on the right is open on Content and Guidance. Ask it something a member would ask. Under each answer you can see which documents it used. Test messages don't count against your monthly replies.
Deploy it
Open Deploy. You can deploy one agent or both.
- For your community channels: next to Public agent, click New, check the channels, then Create.
- For support tickets: next to Ticket agent, click New, check the category your ticket bot opens tickets in, then Create.
Check it works
Post a question in a deployed channel from a normal member account without a staff role (a second Discord account works best), or open a test ticket. Dexbi should reply within a few seconds.
