Plans and billing
The plans, what counts as a reply, when things reset, and how to change or cancel.
Dexbi has four plans: Free, Basic, Pro and Max. Each Discord server has its own plan. For every number, see Plan limits. For current prices, see the plans page.
Every plan includes both agents, tickets and escalation. Higher plans add more replies, documents and teammates, plus features like Personalize, Understand images and Smart rename. Max adds priority support.
Pro and Max also list Procedures and Analytics (Analyze in the dashboard). Both are marked "Arriving soon" in the dashboard and aren't available yet.
Replies
A reply is every answer Dexbi posts in Discord, in public channels and in tickets. Your plan includes a number of replies each month: 30 on Free, up to 15,000 on Max.
Messages in the Test box don't count as replies. They have their own daily allowance.
Usage
Settings > Usage shows Monthly replies: how many Dexbi has posted this cycle, your limit, and when it resets. The bar turns amber at 80%.
When you run out
When you've used all your replies for the month, Dexbi stops replying in your server. It doesn't post a message in Discord about it. Nothing is lost.
The Owner gets two emails: one at 80% ("close to its reply limit") and one at 100% ("Dexbi has paused replies"). Replies start again when the count resets, or as soon as you upgrade.
When things reset
- Free: on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- Paid plans: every month on the day your subscription started. Yearly plans reset monthly too.
- The per-member Daily reply limit resets at midnight UTC.
- Test box messages reset daily.
Billing
Only the workspace Owner sees Settings > Billing. It shows:
- Current Plan, with its status, like "Billed monthly, renews on…" or "Payment failed".
- Payment Method: the card on file, with Update or Add a card.
- Invoices, once you have some, each with View.
- Cancellation: Cancel opens Stripe.
Payments run through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and don't include tax. Yearly costs the same as ten months. There's no free trial, and Free doesn't expire.
Change plan
On Free, click See all plans and pick one. Checkout opens in Stripe. See Move to a paid plan.
On a paid plan, click Manage to open Stripe. Upgrades apply straight away and you pay the difference. Downgrades, and going from yearly to monthly, happen at the end of your current period.
Cancel
Click Cancel. You keep everything until the end of the period you've paid for, then the server moves to Free. There's no refund for the rest of the period. While a cancellation is scheduled, you can click Renew my plan to keep it.
Failed payment
A banner at the top and a note in Billing tell you. Click Update payment to fix the card or pay the open invoice.
Downgrading and going over a limit
Nothing is ever deleted when you downgrade. If you have more than the new plan allows:
- Documents: your oldest keep answering, the newest are paused.
- Websites: extra websites keep their pages but stop re-syncing.
- Guidance rules: the oldest are followed, the newest skipped.
- Audiences: the newest audiences stop matching members.
- Teammates and roles: the newest lose access. The Owner always keeps access.
- Storage: new uploads are refused until you free up space.
Paid-only settings, like a custom server profile or Smart rename, stay saved but switch off until you upgrade again.
A banner tells you what's paused, with an Upgrade button. Remove some items or upgrade and everything works again.
Free servers
One person can own up to 5 servers on the Free plan. To add a sixth, upgrade one of them or delete one. Paid servers don't count toward the 5.
