Find your way around
The dashboard's layout, your servers, search, and who can do what.
Signing in
Go to dash.dexbi.app and click Continue with Discord. Discord is the only way to sign in.
Your servers
Your servers lists every Discord server you can manage in Dexbi. Each server is its own workspace, with its own content, settings, teammates and plan.
- Add a server opens Discord's install screen so you can add Dexbi to another server.
- If Dexbi was removed from a server, its card says Dexbi was removed from this server. Click Add Dexbi back.
- Owners have a menu on each card with Delete server.
- One person can own up to 5 servers on the Free plan. Paid servers don't count toward that.
Inside a workspace, the server name at the top opens a switcher. All servers and Add server both take you back to Your servers.
The main menu
- Content: the documents Dexbi answers from. This is where the dashboard opens.
- Guidance: tone, style rules, escalation and ticket closing.
- Deploy: where Dexbi runs in your server and how it replies.
- Procedures, Analyze (analytics) and Apps: marked "Arriving soon". Not available yet.
- Get started: a short welcome for admins.
On the far left there's a thin bar with Search, Settings (the gear) and your account.
The Test panel sits on the right. It's open on Content and Guidance. Click Test in the header to open it anywhere else.
On a phone, Menu opens the navigation and the bottom bar switches between Workspace and Test.
Search
Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows. You can search pages, documents, guidance rules, audiences and settings, and run quick actions like New document, Website sync, New guidance rule or Open the Test box.
Roles
Everyone in a workspace has one of four roles:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and deleting the workspace. Usually the person who added Dexbi to the server. |
| Admin | Manage settings, content, deployments, audiences and teammates below them. |
| Editor | Write and edit documents and guidance. |
| Viewer | Read everything, change nothing. |
Anyone can use the Test box, Viewers included. See Teammates to add people.
Your account
Click your avatar at the bottom left for your name, role and Discord handle, a link to these docs (Documentation), the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, Delete account and Log out.
Banners at the top
The dashboard shows a banner only when there's something to act on: you're on the Free plan, your plan is ending, or a payment failed. Each one has a button to fix it.
