Short answers to the questions people ask most.
Is Dexbi free?
Yes, there's a Free plan with no time limit. It includes a small number of replies each month, enough to see Dexbi work in your server. Paid plans add more replies and features. See Plan limits.
Does Dexbi make things up?
It's built to answer only from your documents. When your documents don't cover a question, it says it doesn't have that, or stays quiet if you choose. If you see a wrong answer, the Test box shows which document it came from so you can fix it.
Does it work with my ticket bot?
Yes, if your ticket bot creates each ticket as a text channel inside a category. Deploy the ticket agent to that category. See Answer support tickets.
Can Dexbi open tickets?
No. It answers inside tickets your ticket bot opens.
Does it speak other languages?
Yes. It replies in the language of the member's message, even when your documents are in English.
Can it read screenshots members send?
Yes, on every plan. Reading images inside your own documents is a separate feature, Understand images, on Basic and up.
Does it work in DMs?
No. Dexbi answers in your server's channels, forums, threads and tickets.
Can I use Dexbi in more than one server?
Yes. Each server is a separate workspace with its own content, settings and plan. One person can own up to 5 servers on the Free plan.
Can I copy my setup to another server?
Yes. Export Workspace in one server and Import Workspace in the other. Channels, roles and synced websites need setting up again. See Workspace tools.
Who can change things in the dashboard?
People you add as teammates, with the role you give them. Having a role in Discord doesn't give dashboard access unless you add that role under Teammates. See Teammates.
Do test messages cost anything?
They don't use your monthly replies. Each plan has a daily number of test messages.
What happens when I run out of replies?
Dexbi stops replying until the count resets. Nothing is lost. The Owner gets an email at 80% and at 100%. Upgrading raises the limit right away.
Can I change how Dexbi looks in my server?
Yes, on Basic and up. Set its nickname, avatar, banner and bio in Personalize.
Can I remove "Powered by dexbi.app"?
Free plan replies end with that line. It's gone on every paid plan.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Can Claude or ChatGPT set up Dexbi for me?
Yes, on Basic and up. Connect them through MCP and they can write documents and guidance and run test questions. See Connect your AI.
What are Procedures?
Procedures will let you write a process in plain English and have Dexbi follow it step by step. They're marked "Arriving soon" and aren't available yet.
